Vaseline COVID-19 Videos

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, many businesses and brands had to quickly adapt. I worked with the Vaseline Canada Team to localize a 15 second video supplied by their Global agency for the Canadian market. The scope of work included modifying the messaging and replacing the packs in the ending scene to show the Canadian packaging.

A couple of weeks went by after the first 15 second Vaseline video project was completed before the same client contacted me again. Due to the sensitive nature of COVID-19, their marketing team decided to shorten the 15 second video to a 6 second story. This meant that I had to re-edit the video + music, cutting away all the non-essential parts, leaving only the most important part of their messaging.

The creative direction was changing day by day. They informed me that they had run out of the Rough Hands Rescue SKU and wanted to replace the end frame image with Extremely Dry Skin Rescue instead. I was able to quickly adapt the 15 second video asset and make all the necessary changes for them to launch the 6s video in time.
